Being abundant about something makes us more creative than usual. This time I have an abundance of coconuts and ice cream.
I have an almost daily supply of ice cream from the street vendor. Sometimes I also make homemade ice cream if I have a lot of free time.
So this time, in #DashOutSunday I will share how I serve ice cream with young coconut and fruits.

Preparing Fruits
In this ice cream serving, I use fruit that is available in my freezer. I have watermelon and also young coconut meat.
The watermelon that I use has two different types. One is red watermelon and the other is yellow watermelon. Then I shaped the watermelon into star shapes and heart shapes.
Also, prepare young coconut slices.
Plating Time
Set the chopped young coconut meat as the base on the coconut bowl.
Don't make too much of it because it will make the ice cream look less dominant.
Then, scoop out the ice cream and arrange it on top of the young coconut meat pieces. I used three scoops of ice cream.
The ice cream flavor I use is Indonesian pandan leaves flavored ice cream.
Then add pieces of fruit as a finishing touch.
I also add a few pieces of young coconut fruit to emphasize the coconut composition.
My little nieces and nephews as well as my mother love sweet treats like this.
The young coconut meat gives its sensation. Scooping out ice cream and coconut meat. Yummy!
