I’ll be working late again tonight… 😰 probably until midnight. Then, I’ll rest for a few hours before heading back to work. I’m already feeling the exhaustion and badly need a weekend off. 😂
With all these sacrifices I’m making, I’m hopeful that they’ll pay off in the long run. Of course, I have to handle what’s within my scope, no matter how difficult it is—right?
And with all these late nights, I need to eat something decent to avoid jeopardizing my health. Gone are the days when I’d stay up working and just order pizza or fast food—those aren’t exactly the best choices. I guess I’m getting more mature when it comes to the food I eat.

For dinner, I decided to try a new spot I discovered that serves fish soup!
Soon Lee Fish Soup
Jalan Batu food center
This stall is located in Jalan Batu and is one of the few that stay open at night. I enjoy having fish soup for supper because it’s light and doesn’t feel too heavy on my stomach. 😁
I usually go for the fried fish version because it's the most filling and has the least fishy taste.
I guess cooking the fish twice helps eliminate the fishy smell.
Overall, this fish soup spot turned out to be a great find, especially for a late-night meal. It’s light yet satisfying, making it perfect for supper without feeling too heavy. I’ll definitely be back to try it again—maybe next time with some added veggies for extra flavor!
