Hello, foodies!
Today i would like to share one of our food experience in buying take away food. This time i would like to share what we bought last saturday, one of Indonesian authentic cake, pukis.
The food stall where we bought it was small and located in front of Hari-Hari Supermarket at 3rd floor ITC Fatmawati, South Jakarta.
It had some customers when we came.
It sold pukis, cara bikang, pastel and also risoles. The seller made the pukis here so it were all fresh made. I also took a photo of the pan to make it.
For all the cakes and pastries, only 4,000 IDR or around each. Cheap, right! We bought 2 pastels and 2 pukis so it was only around 1.12 USD.
Here how pukis looked like
We chose the cheese pukis so it tasted soft, savory and sweet.
And here how the pastel looked like, it contained vegetables, glass noodle and boiled egg inside. The skin was soft and crispy, and the flavour was savory.
I invite you to try the pukis and also pastel here
