Hola a todos, espero que semana haya empezado de maravilla. Hoy paso por aquí para contarles de un nuevo restaurante y digo nuevo porque literalmente tiene muy pocos días de estar abierto. Sin embargo, nosotros aún no habíamos probado las deliciosas sopas y comidas que venden allí, así que aprovechando que ando con un poco de malestar de gripe me antojé de tomar hervido de res y descubrimos que era la oportunidad perfecta para probar el sazón de este restaurante que nos queda muy cerca. Mondogos, Ajiacos y algo más es el nombre del restaurante y está ubicado en el Boulevard de Los Alcazare. Así que ya saben, si están antojados de comida típica colombiana este es el lugar perfecto ya que te ponen una muy buena porción y sus sabores son demasiado buenos.
Te cuento que en este restaurante consigues ajiaco, hervidos, mondongos, cazuela, bandeja paisa y asados. Nosotros por ejemplo pedimos un hervido de res y otro de costilla y la verdad es que nos sorprendió con todo lo que venía. Cada sopa nos costó 25 mil pesos colombianos o lo que es aproximadamente unos 6,25 USD. Cada sopa traía el jugo, arroz, arepa, aguacate y un cambur o banano. Este último es lo más gracioso ya que aquí en Colombia acostumbran a comer las sopas con banano y también los guisos. Nosotros decidimos dejar el banano a un lado pero nos comimos todo lo demás y quedamos bastante satisfechos, nos encantó todo. Esto fué todo por hoy, espero que les haya gustado. Hello everyone, I hope the week is off to a great start. Today I am stopping by to tell you about a new restaurant and I say new because it has literally been open for only a few days. However, we still hadn't tried the delicious soups and meals they sell there, so taking advantage of the fact that I'm feeling a little sick with the flu, I had a craving for some boiled beef and we discovered that it was the perfect opportunity to try the seasoning of this restaurant that is very close to us. Mondogos, Ajiacos y algo más is the name of the restaurant and it is located on Los Alcazare Boulevard. So now you know, if you are craving for typical Colombian food, this is the perfect place because they serve a very good portion and their flavors are too good.
I tell you that in this restaurant you get ajiaco, boiled, mondongos, casserole, bandeja paisa and roasts. We, for example, ordered a beef and a rib stew and the truth is that we were surprised with everything that came with it. Each soup cost us 25 thousand Colombian pesos or approximately 6.25 USD. Each soup came with juice, rice, arepa, avocado and a cambur or banana. The latter is the funniest thing since here in Colombia they usually eat soups with bananas and also stews.
