I have been wanting to make this sauce for myself but the hindrance has been my choice of cabbage, I had always wanted to make it using the purple cabbage, because of its health in boosting immunity.
The taste of this sauce is really unique as it isn't the regular kind of sauce.
My sister used to this sauce but hee cabbage will always be mixed. I learned making it from her but i decided I won't be mixing my cabbage to get what i wanted. What endeared me to the sauce is the fact that it's always eaten with Irish potatoes, not that eating it with other things won't go we but the fact that the content of potassium of fiber in it which helps maintain blood pressure and lower cholesterol and glucose levels respectively made me like it the more.
The things i used it making are listed below,
INGREDIENTS
- 600g of Irish potatoes
- 400g purple cabbage
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper

My ingredients prepared and waiting for the next step.
Step 2
In a clean and heated pot put the vegetable oil, add onion and pour in the fresh tomatoes followed with all the pepper and the then the cabbage add salt and bring down the sauce for it's ready.
Step 3
In a separate pot put in the Irish potato add water and cook, it gets soft easily so do not overcook it.
