As I've mentioned in my previous blogs, It seems that I found myself eating out almost everyday after work and on weekends. Sometimes I could spend 20 USD in a day just for my meals which my wallet is not happy about- but my stomach is. These are just my simple joys in life that makes stress go away. I've compiled some foods that I highly recommend and are memorable meals for me. After all, the biggest factor in making a meal delicious is who you share it with.

Cheesecake from Tightrope Cafe

This is the only cheesecake that I approve of, which even surpasses the cheesecake from Starbucks. It's one of their best sellers at Tightrope so it's quite pricey too. I went here for a date with Ben.

Steak from Mindanao Basket

A few months ago, my officemates and I were just randomly talking about home cooked food and what utensils that are best to be used. One of us mentioned that he bought a frozen steak from the grocery and it taste so bad, either because of the quality of the meat or the method of cooking the steak. So our manager had recommended the Mindanao Basket, an online shop that sells frozen premium steaks and other meats. I tried buying some and it was truly delicious. The steaks were half the price compared to those at the restaurants but the quality is truly premium. So I highly recommend!

Big Tom's Burger

It was Friday, the day of Valentine's, and I know the traffic would be so bad at night. Ben and I already celebrated our Valentine's a day earlier to avoid the crowd, so I was free on Valentine's Day. It happened to be my office day and some of my gals don't have any plans for the night. We decided to have our mini Galentines day at Big Tom's restaurant. What makes this restaurant special is that their burgers are charboiled instead of pan fried. My favorite is the nachos with cheese dip. So good!

Each food is special because of the memories created during our meals together. Although I regret spending too much in eating out lately, but I don't regret spending time with my love ones.

That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!

Sending some love and light

Spending on good food is always worth it, especially when it brings joy and great memories! That cheesecake sounds heavenly, and a premium steak at half the price? Definitely a win! Love how you tied each meal to a special moment—food tastes even better when shared with loved ones!
