Hello Hivereans,
It's been quite a while since I last uploaded a blog post. This week, I had to prioritize my midterm examinations, especially in Calculus—a subject that has been quite challenging. However, I’m thankful to God that we successfully completed our midterm in Calculus yesterday. I did my best and lifted everything to God, trusting that whatever the result may be, it is all in His hands.
It was a beautiful morning, I woke up early, prepare breakfast and then visited this area to start my task for today, way to go Jess!
Here's a snapshot from our midterm exam in one of my major subjects. Despite the difficulty, I feel a sense of accomplishment, knowing that I gave my all.
Now that the exams are over and classes are on break, I’m back to fulfilling another responsibility.
Currently, I am living with the family of our senior pastor and his wife. Although I miss my family and desire to visit them, there are several factors to consider that make it difficult at the moment. I am essentially living the life of a semi-working student. I am incredibly thankful to the pastor's family for their support and understanding. They allow me to prioritize my studies while also contributing to the household. What started as a weekend stay gradually turned into a longer arrangement, and I feel blessed to be in such a supportive environment. Though I can’t visit my family just yet, I’m focused on my studies and the responsibilities I have here. I trust that in God’s perfect time, I will be able to visit home and reconnect with my loved ones.
So, my task for today is to clean the garden at the back and get rid of all the unnecessary plants.
As you can see, there is a lot of grass that needs to be cleared; otherwise, snakes might start visiting this area. This is the responsibility I must accomplish today.
Later on, around 10 AM, I was able to finish cleaning this side only, as it’s already too hot. And you can see it on my face too, and happy that I accomplish something great today.
Here is the cleaned area, and you can see this green sack where I put all the weeds.
I will post an update on my next blog after this area is totally cleaned :)
After two hours of cleaning, my stomach started to hurt and craved food. Since there's plenty to eat here, I decided to rest for a while and enjoy my happy snacks. Happy tummy, happy me!
And one more thing, I still need to finish my laundry phew what a day, this is life.
In conclusion, life in the real world is really not that easy, especially when you have responsibilities to manage. Being a student does not end with attending classes and passing exams. Behind every survival, there is suffering and challenges. It may not be the worst, but it is certainly quite challenging.
However, these struggles help us grow and become stronger individuals. Through hard work, patience, and faith, we learn to persevere and achieve our goals. The sacrifices we make today will eventually lead to a brighter and more successful future. Every challenge we face molds us into better versions of ourselves, preparing us for the realities of life ahead.
That would be all, thank you as always for supporting my journey here in Hive!
