This time, first place is shared by two dishes that were so delicious I couldn't choose between them.
On one hand, we have a Venezuelan barbecue (parrilla) đ€€. For some reason, here in Colombia, they add grilled cheese, which I assume is to cater to local tastes, as Iâve never seen a Venezuelan barbecue with grilled cheese beforeâthough I could be wrong.
From the same place, we also have handmade spinach and cheese ravioli with Bolognese sauce. I donât even need to explain how perfect this dish wasâthe photo speaks for itself. Plus, itâs from my favorite restaurant in the area, so there was no way it could disappoint.
Second place goes to the popular "corrientazo", a classic executive menu that includes soup, protein, rice, salad, and juice. Besides being delicious, itâs also super affordableâall of this for just $3.5 USD.
Third place, but just as tasty, is a mushroom and cheese omelet served with artisanal whole wheat breadâa breakfast I tried at a new spot that Iâll be sharing with you soon.
