Algo que siempre me ha gustado es poder probar todo tipo de comidas, es por eso que siempre que tengo la oportunidad de probar algo nuevo no la desaprovecho. Siempre han llamado mi atención las sopas y fideos instantáneos del supermercado, pues, estos son tan variados y a la vez tan famosos que es algo que siento que debo probar al menos una vez en la vida. Estando en Venezuela llegué a probar un par de marcas de estos fideos instantáneos y la verdad es que ninguno me sorprendió, ya que eran simples y sin mucho sabor, no obstante quería seguir probandolos hasta encontrar uno que me gustara.
Ahora, aquí en Curitiba he visto una cantidad absurda de estas sopas y fideos instantáneos y eso para mi ha sido como encontrar el paraíso, a su vez son tan económicos que es imposible no aprovechar la oportunidad para poder probarlos todos. Hace un par de semanas compré por primera vez uno de estos fideos, específicamente de la marca Cup Noodles y era tanta la variedad de sabores que se me hizo muy difícil poder escoger uno para empezar. Había casi 10 sabores diferentes, todos por un valor de R$ 4.99 (0.68$ aproximadamente) siendo esta la presentación de 69 gr.
Something I've always enjoyed is being able to try all kinds of foods, which is why I always take advantage of the opportunity to try something new. I've always been drawn to the instant soups and noodles from the supermarket. They are so varied and so famous that it's something I feel I have to try at least once in my life. While in Venezuela, I tried a couple of brands of these instant noodles, and the truth is that none of them surprised me, since they were simple and lacked much flavor. However, I wanted to keep trying them until I found one I liked.
Now, here in Curitiba, I've seen an absurd amount of these instant soups and noodles, and for me, it's been like finding paradise. They are also so affordable that it's impossible not to take the opportunity to try them all. A couple of weeks ago, I bought one of these noodles for the first time, specifically the Cup Noodles brand, and there was such a variety of flavors that it was very difficult for me to choose just one to start with. There were almost 10 different flavors, all for a value of R$ 4.99 (approximately $0.68), this being the 69 gr presentation.
Al final me decidí por comenzar probando el sabor Cheddar que era el que más llamaba mi atención. Llegando a casa leí las instrucciones para prepararlo y estas eran realmente sencillas, pues solo debía hervir agua y abrir la tapa del vaso hasta donde indica en la parte superior, es decir, hasta la mitad aproximadamente.
In the end, I decided to start by trying the Cheddar flavor, which was the one that caught my attention the most. When I got home, I read the instructions for preparing it, and they were really simple. I just had to boil water and open the lid of the glass to the indicated point at the top, that is, about halfway.
Al abrir la tapa pude ver que los noodles venian bien cubiertos en una especie de polvo saborizado de color naranja, ademas noté un aroma delicioso que me recordó mucho al de los Doritos.
When I opened the lid I could see that the noodles were well covered in a kind of orange-colored flavored powder, and I also noticed a delicious aroma that reminded me a lot of Doritos.
Lo siguiente fue agregar el agua hirviendo en el vaso, unos 220 ml o hasta la marca interna del vaso
The next step was to add boiling water to the glass, about 220 ml or up to the internal mark of the glass
Por último solo debía tapar el vaso de nuevo y esperar unos 3 minutos, pasado el tiempo podía retirar la tapa completa, mezclar bien y ya podía disfrutar de mis fideos instantáneos sabor Cheddar.
Finally, I just had to cover the glass again and wait about 3 minutes. After this time, I could remove the entire lid, mix well, and enjoy my Cheddar flavored instant noodles.
Al momento de comer noté que los fideos habíamos absorbido la mayor parte del agua, dejando apenas algo de líquido en el vaso, lo que a mi me pareció bien ya que quería comer fideos y no una sopa. En cuanto a sabor debo decir que no me supo precisamente a queso cheddar, sin embargo, si me gustó mucho y me pareció delicioso, también noté que contenia varios trocitos de cebollin que sin duda le dieron un toque extra al sabor y textura a los fiedeos, además contiene una cantidad ideal para saciar el hambre en el momento, por lo que para mi es una opción bastante económica y rápida si buscas comer algo con poco presupuesto y tiempo.
When I ate it, I noticed that the noodles had absorbed most of the water, leaving barely any liquid in the glass, which was fine with me since I wanted to eat noodles, not soup. As for the flavor, I must say it didn't exactly taste like cheddar cheese, but I did like it a lot and found it delicious. I also noticed it contained several pieces of chives, which definitely gave the noodles an extra touch of flavor and texture. It also contained the perfect amount to satisfy your hunger in the moment, so for me it's a fairly economical and quick option if you're looking to eat something on a budget and on a time-consuming budget.
