Visitar y probar comida en diferentes lugares se ha convertido en una de mis actividades favoritas de un tiempo para acá y ellos últimos 2 meses he tenido la oportunidad de conocer algunos lugares que quería visitar desde que llegué a esta ciudad, uno de ellos es 100 Beer Garden Pizza, el cual nos ha encantado desde la primera vez que fuimos.
Visiting and trying food in different places has become one of my favorite activities for a while now, and in the last 2 months I've had the opportunity to visit some places that I wanted to visit since I arrived in this city, one of them is 100 Beer Garden Pizza, which we have loved since the first time we went.
Se trata de un bar/pizzeria bastante conocido en la ciudad, ¿la razón? Cuenta con 100 tipos de cerveza diferentes para ofrecer, tal como su nombre lo indica, haciéndolo el mayor Beer Garden de Brasil. En una parte del local se encuentran los barriles de cerveza, los cuales se pueden ver desde la parte exterior a travez de un vidrio y estos están conectados a una llave a través de mangueras para ser servidas del otro lado.
This is a fairly well-known bar/pizzeria in the city. The reason? It has 100 different types of beer on offer, just as its name suggests, making it the largest Beer Garden in Brazil. In one part of the establishment are the beer kegs, which can be seen from the outside through a glass window. These are connected to a tap through hoses to be served on the other side.
Gracias a nuestras constantes visitas al Centro Comercial nos dimos cuenta de que cada miércoles era Pizza Day en este local, desde las 5 pm hasta las 11 pm, ofreciendo pizzas a partir de R$ 22 (3.7$) , viendo asi nuestra oportunidad de finalmenteentrar y conocer este lugar.
Thanks to our constant visits to the Mall we realized that every Wednesday was Pizza Day at this place, from 5 pm to 11 pm, offering pizzas starting at R$ 22 (3.7$), thus seeing our opportunity to finally enter and check out this place.
Al entrar debes registrarte con tus datos y allí te darán una tarjeta, la cual se utiliza para hacer el pedido y servir las cervezas que desees tomar.
Upon entering, you must register with your details and there they will give you a card, which you use to place your order and serve the beers you want to drink.
Cuenta con un ambiente bastante acogedor, con un estilo rustico, con mesas de madera y suelo de piedras que a mi parecer van muy bien con el lugar. En la mesa puedes ver el menú en físico donde te detallan todo lo que ofrecen en cuanto a comida y su valor (las cervezas son aparte) desde pizzas, hamburguesas, papas fritas y churrasco.
It has a very cozy, rustic-style atmosphere, with wooden tables and stone floors that, in my opinion, go very well with the place. At the table, you can see the physical menu detailing everything they offer in terms of food and its prices (beers are extra), from pizzas to burgers to fries and churrasco.
Algo que tiene este lugar que me pareció muy interesante y a la vez muy moderno es que aunque tienes el menú en la mesa nadie va hasta ella a tomar tu pedido, pero tampoco debes ser tu quien vaya a hacerlo, pues, en cada mesa cuentan con una pequeña tablet para hacer tu pedido de manera digital, donde te detallan cada opción, los ingredientes que contiene y su valor.
Something about this place that I found very interesting and at the same time very modern is that although you have the menu on the table, no one goes to it to take your order, but you don't have to be the one to do it either, because at each table they have a small tablet to place your order digitally, where they detail each option, the ingredients it contains and its price.
Al finalizar tu pedido debes escanear el código QR de la tarjeta en la tablet para que se cargue a tu cuenta, colocas tu nombre y solo debes esperar a ser llamado en una pantalla y tan pronto como esté listo verás tu nombre en ella y podrás ir a retirarlo en el área correspondiente.
When you finish your order, you must scan the QR code of the card on the tablet so that it is charged to your account, enter your name and just wait to be called on a screen. As soon as it is ready, you will see your name on it and you can go to collect it in the corresponding area.
Todo este proceso es únicamente para pedir comida, pues, para consumir las cervezas el procedimiento es otro y ahora mismo se los voy a explicar. Hay toda una pared con la selección de cervezas, en la parte superior podemos observar la descripción de cada cerveza, con su grado alcohólico, nivel de amargor, su número de identificación, nombre y valor y su consumo se cuenta por cada 100 ml.
This entire process is only for ordering food. Drinking beer is a different process, and I'll explain it to you right now. There's an entire wall with a beer selection. At the top, we can see a description of each beer, including its alcohol content, bitterness level, ID number, name, and price. Consumption is measured per 100 ml.
Para servir tu cerveza primero debes tomar un vaso de vidrio en el refrigerador, esto para mantener tu bebida fría, pero también tienes la opción de tomar un tarro grande con capacidad de un litro por el cual pagas un valor neto.
To serve your beer you must first take a glass cup from the refrigerator, this to keep your drink cold, but you also have the option of taking a large jar with a capacity of one liter for which you pay a net value.
Teniendo ya el vaso en mano es momento de elegir la cerveza entre los 100 diferentes tipos que hay de esta, para ello se debe leer la descripción arriba y ver su número, por ejemplo, la número 67 se llama 100 Beer Premium, es estilo pilsen, tiene un grado de alcohol de 4.8, su nivel de amargor es de 12 y su valor de es R$ 3.50 por cada 100 ml. Si esta es la que decidimos tomar solo debemos colocar la tarjeta en la pantallita que tiene el número de la cerveza que queremos, al hacerlo saldrá nuestro nombre para cargar nuestro consumo en nuestra cuenta, el conteo de ml y su equivalencia en R$ a medida que vayamos sirviendo y para hacerlo debemos colocar el vaso inclinado para que no se haga tanta espuma y halar la manilla para que salga el líquido hasta la cantidad que queramos.
Once you have the glass in hand, it is time to choose the beer from the 100 different types available. To do this, read the description above and see its number. For example, number 67 is called 100 Beer Premium, it is pilsner style, has an alcohol content of 4.8, a bitterness level of 12 and costs R$ 3.50 for every 100 ml. Yo por mi parte apenas probé un pequeño sorbo de 2 cervezas pero Dani que si las tomó las encontró muy buenas de sabor, lo único malo es que es muy difícil de evitar la espuma por completo.
For my part, I barely tried a small sip of two beers, but Dani, who did drink them, found them to be very good tasting. The only bad thing is that it is very difficult to avoid the foam completely.
Las cervezas aunque son costosas en comparación a otras son de buena calidad y además son 100% artesanales, sin mencionar que es toda una experiencia probarlas de esta manera y en este lugar tan único y popular, por lo que vale la pena hacer el gasto.
Por otro lado las pizzas son muy buenas, todas de tamaño personal, de diferentes tipos, sabores e ingredientes. Bastante crujientes y deliciosas, elaboradas con masa de larga fermentación (mejor conocida como masa madre) y salsa de tomate artesanal.
The beers, although expensive compared to others, are of good quality and are 100% artisanal. Not to mention that it's quite an experience to try them this way and in this unique and popular place, so it's worth the money.
The pizzas are also very good, all personal-sized, with different types, flavors, and ingredients. They're quite crispy and delicious, made with long-fermented dough (better known as sourdough) and homemade tomato sauce.
El tiempo de espera para las pizzas es realmente rápido y aunque no eres atendido directamente por algún empleado todo funciona perfecta y eficientemente, ofreciendo un buen servicio y una deliciosa comida al momento. Al finalizar solo es cuestión de dirigirse a la caja, entregar la tarjeta y allí revisan el consumo, haces el pago de la forma que desees y listo. Una experiencia sin duda muy buena, única y deliciosa, la cual hemos disfrutado mucho las 2 veces que hemos ido, por lo que recomiendo muchísimo este lugar al cual espero volver a ir pronto.
The wait time for pizzas is really fast, and although you're not served directly by an employee, everything runs perfectly and efficiently, offering excellent service and delicious food right at the moment. When you're done, just head to the register, hand in your card, and they'll check your bill. You pay however you want, and that's it. It was undoubtedly a very good, unique, and delicious experience, which we've thoroughly enjoyed both times we've been. I highly recommend this place, and I hope to return soon.
