Banana Jam With Authentic Flavor

Special dishes always surprise you, sweet, savory with the texture you want into something delicious. Banana jam is a stinky color on the dining table darling, being a vegan-based complementary dish to enjoy toast or sticky rice.



Hi vegan lovers, today I will invite you to prepare one of the special recipes from processed bananas. If yesterday you visited my post on banana soup, this time banana jam is my right way to preserve bananas that are starting to almost rot in the refrigerator. Now this method is the right mainstay to minimize wasting food that we no longer want to eat.

Banana jam is made very easily but there is a way to process the perfect banana jam is by cooking on low heat with simple spices. Well banana jam after processing is very useful at home, can be used as a jam to enjoy fresh bread or even others. In addition, after becoming jam, it can be stored for a longer period of time.

Ingredients Used

2 ripe bananas
50 grams of sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
200 ml water
4 cloves
1 pandan leaf




Making Procedure


Step 1


Peel the ripe bananas then mash the bananas or chopper until smooth.

Step 2


Cook in a non-stick pan then add water.

Step 3


Cook until half cooked then add 1 pandan leaf, salt and cloves.

Step 4


Stir evenly if the banana has boiled, add sugar and cook again until the water shrinks and the jam has no more water content.

Banana jam is cooked, it's time to store the jam in a sterile and closed container. For those of you who want to keep it longer, store it in the refrigerator, bananas can last up to 1 month with the same quality.
