Hello everyone!
In one of my previous posts, I shared a story about how I lost 17 kilograms in a month and a half — from 102 to 85 kg. I started losing weight in Thailand in December and finished in January. Since then, I have been trying to keep my weight under control, and now my mark is 87 kg. Today I want to tell you how I have been eating for the last two weeks and show that healthy eating can be simple and tasty.
Finding a place that cooks truly healthy food is a real problem. Cafes and restaurants most often serve fried, fatty, oversalted or seasoned with high-calorie sauces. I also avoid semi-finished products: they are full of preservatives, leavening agents and questionable additives. So I cook myself. My food is simple, without frills, but this is what helps me feel light and energetic.
The basis of my diet is fresh vegetables: tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, onions, garlic, dill and parsley. They are rich in fiber, improve digestion and give a feeling of satiety without extra calories. For variety, I add burrata or stracciatella to the vegetables - these cheeses make the dishes more tender and filling. As a source of protein, I sometimes eat eggs or chicken, steamed or baked without oil.
I start the morning with oatmeal in water, often adding a little vegetables to it - it is nutritious and energizes for a long time. An important point: I completely gave up salt. Salt retains water in the body, which is especially harmful for those who have problems with blood pressure. At first it was unusual, but now I don’t even notice its absence - the taste of food has become brighter due to natural spices and herbs.
I rarely eat soups - not because they are not healthy, but simply because I am lazy. Cooking soup takes time, and I prefer something quick. The most “harmful” thing in my diet is bread. I’m not ready to give it up yet, but I’m gradually reducing its amount, choosing whole grain options. But I have dessert every day — a juicy, crispy apple. This is the perfect way to finish a meal without harming your figure.
If you want to lose weight, these simple dishes can be your start. In a couple of weeks, you will notice that the craving for salt and heavy food disappears, and your stomach is no longer bothered by a feeling of heaviness. Yes, at first it may seem that healthy food is boring, especially when there are so many temptations around like burgers and pizza. But believe me: over time, you will begin to enjoy fresh vegetables, aromatic herbs, and lightness in the body.
Healthy eating is not about restrictions, but about taking care of yourself. This is the foundation of good health and energy. Try it, and you will be surprised how simple changes can transform your life! Share in the comments: how do you eat. Maybe you have your own life hacks for a healthy diet?
