My post a few days ago was about me walking around the village and then I found an interesting little cafe.
A hidden gem. I didn't think there was a cafe in a small alley that couldn't even accommodate two cars at once so cars had to take turns passing if they passed each other.
First I passed a river and kept walking. It seemed like it was close. The village river which also functions to irrigate the rice fields around here.
From the edge of the alley after passing by the river earlier I saw the name of the cafe. Pawon Sidodadi. An interesting reading because there was a phrase to be careful there, there was a cafe called Pawon Sidodadi so people who passed by could know that there was a cafe here.
When I entered the cafe at that time I was surprised because the place was already crowded with visitors. It seemed like there were already many regular visitors to this cafe.
The menu book came brought by a female waitress then I chose the duck menu combined with spicy spices typical of Sukoharjo, Javanese cuisine.
Look at the appearance of the duck menu that I ordered at that time. It is served on a plate and lined with banana leaves.
Fried duck which is then stir-fried with spices and also lots of green tomato slices, chilies and long bean slices. Fried anchovies are also added. Fried onions are also sprinkled as a topping.
Basil leaves and cucumber slices are served as a complement to this duck rice.
Looks very juicy, look at these pieces of duck meat. A perfect match for fried duck and spicy spices.
This menu is only $1.5 and I think it's cheap because the duck pieces are quite large and the portion of rice is just right and most importantly it tastes good.
After eating, it's time for me to take pictures of this place. Some of the visitors who had been busy coming have gone home so this place looks deserted.
This cafe is relatively small but with the right decoration it looks spacious. The tables and chairs are made of wood.
There is a nice iron fence so that it is safe for children who are curious about the river water.
In front of there are also rice fields besides the river view and the evening view can be even better.
While in the middle of the cafe there are big trees to make the atmosphere cooler. It is also suitable for relaxing during the day because the atmosphere is good.
Thank you for reading my blog. Greetings from Indonesia.
All photos I took using my phone camera.
