A sweet to gladden the soul
It has happened to you that you feel the need to please the palate with sweet, sure it has, it happens to me more than it should, but now that I am observing and becoming aware of what I ingest and eat, sweets have ceased to be in the first level, that's why in a recent outing I decided to give myself a prize to my new lifestyle, sinning with the palate 🤣.
It is that it is impossible not to do so when I pass by the front of this cafeteria pastry shop because besides having some delicious desserts their prices are the best, so I can not fail to please me when I visit this mall and this day I was accompanied by my aunt and for her pleasant presence I wanted to toast her with what she wanted. I thank God that I live far away from this place.
We were looking at the display cases and she decided on a Lemon Pie, a dessert that we rarely eat. As its size is medium, it was enough for both of us for only 2.91$. We went in and everything was dark, I thought they were not using electricity to cut costs and I asked the cashier, who told me that the reason was because of power rationing. There was no light and it was a pity, as the cafeteria is small but nice.
Un dulce para alegrar el alma
Te ha pasado que sientes la necesidad de complacer el paladar con dulce, seguro que sí, a mí me pasa más de lo que debería, pero ahora que estoy observando y tomando conciencia de lo que ingiero y me alimento, los dulces han dejado de estar en el primer nivel, por eso en una salida reciente decidí darme un premio a mi nuevo estilo de vida, pecando con el paladar 🤣.
Es que es imposible no hacerlo cuando paso por el frente de esta cafetería pastelería porque además de tener unos postres deliciosos sus precios son los mejores, por eso no puedo dejar de complacerme cuando visitó este centro comercial y este día estaba acompañada de mi tía y por su grata presencia quise brindarla con lo que ella quería. Agradezco a Dios es que vivo lejos de este lugar.
Estuvimos viendo las vitrinas y ella se decidió por un Pie de Limón, un postre que pocas veces comemos. Como su tamaño es mediano, alcanzaba para las dos por tan solo 2.91 dólares. Entramos y todo estaba oscuro, pensé que no estaban usando la electricidad para abaratar costos y le pregunté a la cajera, quien me dijo que el motivo era el racionamiento eléctrico. No había luz y era una lástima, ya que la cafetería es pequeña pero bonita.
Lemon pie
I have never made this dessert, I don't know the ingredients or the elaboration process, but I am sure it has lemon 😂 I could see it in decoration on the dessert. The same has a cookie base or something similar where they put the mixture of something sweet and sticky and on top of that is the cream sprinkled with cinnamon. It tastes sweet and at the same time has a touch of acidity from the lemon. It is tasty, I liked it and my aunt even more, the portion was enough for both of us because we were satisfied.
In this bakery, pastry shop, they make everything, breads and salty and sweet snacks, coffees, among other drinks. It is called TDK and there are others in different parts of the city are a network, they became popular for the prices and combos they offer, and the service is also first class with kindness and diligence at least that's how I found the one in the shopping center Americas in Maracay, Venezuela. An example of this can be seen in the image showing the cañitas, which are sweets wrapped in puff pastry dough filled with cream and dipped in chocolate, two for $ 1.48 and they are not so small.
Before we left I bought another promotion truffles for everyone at home, which were delicious because I also ate one 🫢. The candy gladdens the soul, I don't know anyone who didn't like it. Have you tried the lemon pie or do you know how to prepare it?
Pie de limón
Nunca he hecho este postre, no conozco los ingredientes ni el proceso de elaboración, pero estoy segura de que lleva limón 😂 lo pude ver en el adorno sobre el postre. El mismo tiene una base de galleta o algo parecido donde ponen la mezcla de algo dulce y pegajoso y sobre eso está la crema espolvoreada con canela. Su sabor es dulce y a la vez tiene un toque de acidez por el limón. Es sabroso, me gustó y a mi tía más, la porción fue suficiente para las dos porque quedamos satisfechas.
En esta panadería, pastelería, hacen de todo, panes y bocadillos salados y dulces, cafés, entre otras bebidas. Se llama TDK y existen otras en diferentes lugares de la ciudad son una red, se hicieron populares por los precios y combos que ofrecen, y el servicio también es de primera con amabilidad y diligencia por lo menos así me ha parecido la que está en el centro comercial las Américas en Maracay, Venezuela. Un ejemplo de esto la podemos ver en la imagen que muestran las cañitas que son dulces envueltos con masa de hojaldres rellenos de crema de leche bañados de chocolate, dos por 1.48 $ y no son tan pequeñas.
Antes de irnos compre otra promoción trufas para todos en casa, que estaban deliciosas porqué también me comí una 🫢. El dulce alegra el alma, no conozco a nadie que no le gusté. ¿Has probado el Pie de limón o lo sabes preparar?
