How are you, Good evening dear friends. How are you all. As the New Year celebrations are slowly fading away, there has been a lot of New Year food and sweet treats. So in the midst of all this, today I have brought a different recipe 1. This is 'egg bonda'. You can make it for a snack or as a side dish to your main meal and enjoy it. So let's see how to make it.
Ingredients;
- Two boiled eggs
- 20ml of water
- 250g of boiled and mashed potatoes
- Half a large onion, chopped
- Three green chilies, chopped
- A few chopped curry leaves
- A tablespoon of ginger and garlic,
chopped - Two tablespoons of cornflour
- Two tablespoons of plain flour
- A teaspoon of salt powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- Half teaspoon of pepper powder
- A teaspoon of chilli pieces
- Half teaspoon of chilli powder
- Half teaspoon of meat curry powder
- 100ml of oil
The method of making?;
First add a tablespoon of oil to the pan and add a tablespoon of ginger and garlic.
With normal flame add chopped onion and green chilies to the pan.
Add curry leaves and stir well.
Fry for about a minute on medium heat.
Now add turmeric powder and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper powder and mix.
Then add salt powder, chilli pieces, chilli powder and meat curry powder.
Now turn off the heat and add the mashed potatoes, mix well, and transfer to another bowl.
Now let's separate the boiled eggs into two.
Take two tablespoons of the potato mixture and press it lightly with your hands.
Add the boiled half egg in the middle and wrap it around the potato mixture so that it is not visible.
Let's make batter. Add plain flour with cornflour to the bowl.

Then add 20ml of water and and make thick batter.
Add the alabondas coated in the batter to the oil, then add them to the medium-hot oil and fry for about four to five minutes until golden brown.
This egg bonda is very wonderful for a short hunger. And especially my daughter are ready to eat this alone with great pleasure because it is so delicious. It is very wonderful as a snack, for a small hunger. Not only that, you can also make and enjoy this egg bonda as a side dish to your main meal.
