¡Hola amigos! feliz mitad de semana. El sábado nos escapamos un rato de la monotonía para disfrutar un concierto con bandas de la ciudad. Estaba un poco agobiada y cansada ya que estuve un poco quebrantada de salud durante un par de semanas, pero una vez recuperada, aprovechamos la oportunidad de salir a tomar aire fresco y disfrutar buena música.
We arrived at Ruta +58, a bar-restaurant located in Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela. To my surprise the place was full of young boys and girls. The show was a tribute to one of my favorite Venezuelan bands “Caramelos de Cianuro” I'm sure you may have heard some of their songs. This time they presented local talent, a band called Los Antígenos (the guitarist is a friend of my partner, so we went to support them too) they have been a band for years, although it was the first time we met them in one of their shows, they have a lot of talent, I loved it.
Llegamos a Ruta +58, es un bar-restaurante ubicado en Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela. Para mi sorpresa el sitio estaba lleno de chicos y chicas muy jóvenes. El show era un tributo a una de mis bandas venezolanas favoritas "Caramelos de cianuro" estoy segura que quizas escuchaste alguna de sus canciones. En esta oportunidad se presentó talento local, una banda llamada Los antígenos (el guitarrista es amigo de mi pareja, así que fuimos a apoyar también) ellos tiene años como banda, aunque es primera vez que coinicidimos en uno de sus toques, tienen muchisimo talento, me encantó.
Other rock bands opened the show, singing the infallible classics such as Guns N' Roses, Aerosmith, Nirvana. One of the singers was a girl of only 19 years old, with an incredible voice that left us all open-mouthed, requesting one and another additional song. We definitely have a lot of talent, we just need to bet on it.
But we didn't only hear rock, songs by Bruno Mars and RBD were also present, singing at full throttle from the youngest to their adult companions.
Abrieron el show otras bandas de rock, cantaron los clásicos infaltables como Guns N' Roses, Aerosmith, Nirvana. Una de las cantantes fue una chica de tan solo 19 años, con una voz increible nos dejó a todos boca abierta, solicitandole una y otra canción adicional. Definitivamente tenemos muchisimo talento, solo hace falta apostar por él.
Pero no solo escuchamos rock, canciones de Bruno Mars y RBD también se hicieron presentes, cantando a todo pulmon desde los más jovenes hasta sus acompañantes adultos.
It was certainly a different plan, beyond going to a bar on a Saturday night just to listen to reggaeton. While we were waiting for the main band, we met other bands, which besides playing classics, played songs of their own authorship. We had a great time, ate some snacks while the place kept getting more and more crowded.
Sin duda fue un plan distinto, más allá de ir a un bar un sábado por la noche solo a escuchar reggaeton. Mientras esperabamos a la banda principal, conocimos otras, las cuales además de tocar clásicos nos interpretaron temas de su propia autoría. Pasamos un rato ameno, comimos algunos snaks mientras el sitio seguía llenandose cada vez más.
And then came the most awaited moment of the night, the band Los Antigenos with their tribute to Caramelos de cianuro. I love their songs, since I was little my older sister listened to them, I guess I adopted her musical tastes too haha. They started with No eres tu, followed by las notas, verano, la casa, rubia sol morena luna, veterana, among others. The audience was excited, they were screaming for Veronica (and I don't blame them, it's a great song) so they closed with a flourish with that song.
It was a wonderful night, I would do it again? of course I would, nothing like singing your favorite songs at the top of your lungs.

Y llegó el momento más esperado de la noche, la banda de Los Antigenos con su tributo a Caramelos de cianuro. Sus canciones me encantan, desde pequeña mi hermana mayor las escuchaba, supongo que adopté sus gustos musicales también jaja. Iniciaron con No eres tu, seguido de las notas, verano, la casa, rubia sol morena luna, veterana, entre otras. El público estaba emocionado, pedian Verónica a gritos (y no los culpo, es un temazo) asi que cerraron con broche de oro con ese tema.
Fue una noche maravillosa, volvería a repetirla? claro que si, nada como cantar a todo pulmón tus canciones favoritas.
