I am one who has been addicted to sanger. Sanger is Aceh coffee which is added a little liquid milk. Because of that, the taste of sanger is a combination of the bitterness of coffee with the addition of the sweetness of liquid milk.
In Jakarta, one of the references to visit in order to enjoy a sanger with authentic flavors in Aceh is The Atjeh Connection. There are several locations of this Aceh restaurant.
But I chose who was in the Bendungan Hilir area, Jakarta. This location is easy for me to visit and closer to the hotel where I stay.
It turns out that besides sanger, Aceh's specialty coffee, in the restaurant there are also a variety of traditional Acehnese cakes such as pulut, cassava and timphan.
The place is also interesting. Suitable for small reunion places like I do.
About the price? It is a bit more expensive compared to the same menu in its native region, Aceh. But so far it is still quite affordable.
So if you want to feel Sanger like the taste in Aceh, come to Atjeh Connection. Guaranteed you will be satisfied.
Don't worry for its location. Its location is right on the edge of the road with a variety of striking attributes that will be easily recognized. Parking is also available directly in front of the restaurant.
