One crushed clove of garlic, half a big onion, half a vegetable stock cube, 5 white mushrooms and half a 900ml tin of chopped tomatoes. Heat the onions and garlic until soft, add mushrooms and brown gently. Add tinned tomatoes and stock cube. Heat for 10-15 minutes until water is reduced, stirring occasionally to ensure flavour is mixed well and spread out.
Pasta sauce is then done. Add boiled pasta and mix well.
