Today I am going to share some beautiful pictures of food which I prepared today for lunch. I prepared two snacks. As we know vegetables are very important and beneficial for the human being. One of the snacks which I prepared by using chickpeas is quick and delicious. While the second snack is a bit oily but full of Vegetables. You can also cook vegetable Bhaji in the air fryer. It doesn't taste good but becomes healthy because the deep frying method is used to cook this vegetable bhaji.
To make this recipe I used a few vegetables which were available at home. I used spinach leaves, One medium-sized onion and one medium-sized potato.
Spices are used around a teaspoon of turmeric powder, whole coriander, cumin seeds, chilli powder, chilli flakes, coriander powder, pinch of baking soda and salt as per taste. You can increase or decrease spices and vegetables according to your choice are used around one cup of gram flour in it. You can also add capsicums, green chillies, cabbage or any vegetables which you like.
Then combine all the ingredients together and try to make a smooth mixture. If you find it to dry, then add some water to it. But make sure not to add too much water. If mixed mixture starts binding with each other then it means that your mixture is ready otherwise you could add more gram flour to make sure that all vegetables stick with it. Leave the mixture for about ten minutes.
After that put oil in the frying pan. Make sure the oil is not very hot otherwise your bhaji would not be cooked properly. Then deep fry bhaji until the vegetables are cooked. And the colour changes to golden brown.
I also prepared yogurt sauce by adding some spices.
Serve your vegetable bhaji with yogurt sauce and tomato ketchup or any other sauce as per taste. Have a look.
Now I'm going to share easy and quick chickpea salad or chat whatever you call..
A tin of boiled chickpea. Strain it..
I used tamarind sauce, salt and some chaat masala in spices.
I also used green chilli, coriander leaves and lemon juice in it. You can add all these ingredients according to your taste. If you like more spicy then add more green chilli in it. For more tangy flavour you can add more lemon juice it...
I used cucumber, tomatoes and onion in vegetables. Any vegetables can add in this salad.
Have a look after adding all ingredients in one bowl.
As you know my son doesn't like spicy food so I took his chickpea salad in a separate bowl. He loved it. MASHA ALLAH.

This is the final look of both snacks. I just add a little bit of crisps to the salad just for decoration.
