Cook the tarap when it's not fully ripe, particularly in the soup recipe. It is one of my favourite foods. The technique was to mix the tarap with chicken (or any meat) and cook it longer. This method of cooking ensures a truly delicious taste. I ate a double portion of rice with this soup. Really like it.
