The rain didn't come as soon as expected yesterday so I decided to get out there and go to one of the local farmers markets. All of the vendors had their tents out in case the storm broke out but luckily for everyone in attendance it was calm. I wasn't really looking for anything specific but I was able to find a couple gems.
One of the vendors had a ton of fresh cut green beans, that instantly caught my attention. I've been using canned green beans the last couple months so I figured it would be a good time to switch it up and buy something fresh. Found some canned good as well. And shortly after the farmers I was able to make by the grocery store to pick up a pack of bacon. Green beans are always better cooked with bacon.
