Has it happened to you?
Back when 2023 was almost over, I had the chance to go for a coffee with my favorite teacher ever @marlyncabrera. Unfortunately, there was no coffee! And it was funny in a sense. Sometimes, we forget LATAM is most sci-fi thing that exists in this planet.
So, we had to settle down to drink some non-alcoholic malt (a very popular Venezuelan drink) and eating some baked goodies.
Later we found out, the issues was a broken pipe in the mall. And that had the bakery refrain from making coffee. Just because they had no water to make it.
It was a sad story for coffee, but that didn't stop us from enjoying our last meeting of 2023 with stories, political talk, nonsense and else. So it never usually about the coffee but the company. However, we did miss having some coffee during that gathering.

¿Les ha pasado esto?
Antes de que terminara el 2023, tuve la oportinidad de ir por un café con mi profesora favorita de todos los tiempos, @marlyncabrera. Para nuestra mala suerte, ¡no había café! Esto fue un tanto chistoso. América Latina es sin duda una de las cosas más cercanas a la ciencia ficción sobre la Tierra.
Así que nos conformamos por tomar malta sin alcohol (algo muy popular en Venezuela) y comer dulces y panes.
Más tarde nos enteramos de que el problema era un tubo roto en el centro comercial. Así que la panadería no tenía agua para hacer café.
Fue un cuento triste para el café, pero eso no nos quitó la oportunidad de compartir un rato agradable con cuentos, política, cosas sin sentido y más. Nunca es sobre el café. La compañía lo es todo. Aunque si extrañamos un poco tener algo de café para acompañar el rato.
