Hello foodies,I hope you are healthy and happy .Today, I'm sharing my version of the chili potato recipe with you, which I've made in my own style. I hope you'll like it. In this recipe, I've used three types of chili: green chili, red chili powder, and chili flakes.Get ready to tantalize your taste buds with a unique twist on traditional dish- Chili Potato
Ingredients:
3 medium-sized potatoes, cut into thin strips
2-3 green chilies
1 onion thinly sliced
2 tablespoons cornflour
Oil for frying
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon black pepper powder
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon green chatni
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
Chili flakes
Preparation:
Take potatoes in a bowl, then add green chutney, soy sauce, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and set aside for 15 minutes.
Then, add cornflour and food color to the marinated potatoes.
Heat oil in a pan and Fry the potatoes on a medium flame.
After removing the potatoes from the oil, saute garlic and onion in the same oil.
Add capsicum 🫑, carrot 🥕 and green chilli ,mix well together.
Add chopped tomatoes and tomato sauce and cook until they become soft and mushy.
Add cubed potatoes and mix until they are well coated with the spices.
Cook covered on low to medium heat until the potatoes are tender.
Add corn flour, soy sauce, chili flakes, vinegar, salt, black pepper powder, and water to the bowl. Stir well to combine.
Add the cornflour slurry to the pan and toss them in the sauce until they are evenly coated.
Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
Serve hot as a delicious dish.
