@itsmemic , once again! Today, I will share with you how my family and I celebrated my twentieth birthday. We decided to celebrate it at Dampa sa Bogo - Seafood, Grill, and Restobar.
Why here, you might ask?
First, my mom loves dining at this place and wanted to try their seafood dishes. Plus, we heard a lot of positive feedback about their food and ambiance through social media, which made us even more curious.

Appetizers and Dishes
We kicked off with a serving of fried rice with shrimp. This was a big hit with my youngest brother, who loves fried rice. It became his instant favorite!
We also ordered Ginataang Hipon with Sitaw (shrimp in coconut milk with string beans). I particularly enjoyed this dish because of its rich flavor, which seemed enhanced by a touch of coconut oil.
Another highlight of the dinner was the Cajun Overload, a tasty seafood plate featuring slipper lobsters, crabs, shrimp, clams, mussels, and more. It was nicely presented, and I couldn't wait to delve in!
Despite the variety of dishes, the serving time was impressively fast. Within about 15 minutes of placing our order, everything was on the table.
Of course, we also ordered plain rice, as it’s a staple in every Filipino meal. Rice pairs perfectly with seafood dishes, and it truly completed our dining experience.
Dessert
To chill down, my mother ordered Halo-Halo, a traditional Filipino delicacy. It is produced with crushed ice, evaporated milk, ice cream, and a variety of components such as sweet beans, jelly, fruits, and leche flan. It was the ideal sweet finish to our dinner.
Dining Experience
Here’s a fun tidbit: I always prefer eating seafood using plastic gloves, especially for crabs. It makes it easier to get to the juicy insides without any mess.
The entire experience was unforgettable. The dinner was not only physically stunning, but also tasty, well above our expectations. Every meal was worth the price, and the service from the personnel was excellent—friendly and attentive.
This dinner will always be a cherished memory.
