El día de ayer fue el cumpleaños de mi padre, el cual nunca ha querido que se celebre a lo grande estos días, pero nosotros siempre insistimos con hacerle algo lindo. Ayer decidimos salir cerca de las horas de la noche, y tuvimos una experiencia más o menos, que tengo muchas ganas de contarles, sin más, quiero hablarles de como nos fue y cual fue mi decepción con lo que comimos

Ya yo algunas veces he hablado de este lugar "donde gaby". Aquí yo he ido varias veces a comer perros calientes los que la verdad son muy buenos, pero hoy decidimos comer algo que le gustará a mi papá, como una parrilla con papas

Al salir, gracias a la situación que atraviesa actualmente Venezuela, no encontramos casi ningún local abierto, lo cual es super entendible, ya que esta situación es delicada. Buscando un rato por los alrededores, recordé que donde gaby vendían parillas grandes con papas fritas, lo comenté y mi papá dijo que sería buena idea comer ahí
When we left, thanks to the current situation in Venezuela, we found almost no places open, which is very understandable, as this situation is delicate. Looking around for a while, I remembered that at gaby's they sold big parillas with french fries, I mentioned it and my dad said it would be a good idea to eat there.
Al llegar, pedimos esta parrilla grande por nada más que 14, sin incluir el refreco que compramos. Esto lo íbamos a comer entre 3 personas, y según el menú esto alcanzaría perfecto.
Upon arrival, we ordered this large grill for only 14, not including the soft drink we bought. We were going to eat this between 3 people, and according to the menu this would be perfect.
El plato por fuera se veía muy bien servido y lleno de todo. Se veía la verdad muy bueno y con mucho queso por arriba. Además de todo lo ya comentado, esta parrilla tenia muchas salsas de la casa, lo cual lo hacía un poco grasoso, pero tampoco se podría decir que era desagradable, estaba bien la verdad.
The outside of the dish looked very well served and full of everything. It looked really good and with a lot of cheese on top. In addition to all of the above, this grill had a lot of house sauces, which made it a little greasy, but it was not unpleasant either, it was really good.
Fuimos comiendo y todo estaba bastante bien, hasta que llegamos al punto de casi terminar el plato y ver que en el fondo lo que había eran rodajas de tomate, cebolla y mucha lechuga. Esto personalmente me pareció una total estafa, ya que la cantidad de estos vegetales eran bastante, y esto era obviamente para no tener que poner tanta carne y papa, y así lograr sacarse un dinerito extra de lo que se ahorrarían. Esto me puso muy triste, ya que íbamos con algo de hambre y realmente no nos llenamos, y obviamente dejamos todos estos vegetales, ya que comer estas cosas en la calle es malo, no todo el mundo los lava bien
We were eating and everything was quite good, until we almost finished our plate and saw that at the bottom there were slices of tomato, onion and a lot of lettuce. This personally seemed to me to be a total rip-off, since the amount of these vegetables was quite a lot, and this was obviously to avoid having to put so much meat and potatoes, and thus make a little extra money out of what they would save. This made me very sad, since we were hungry and we didn't really get full, and obviously we left all these vegetables, since eating these things in the street is bad, not everybody washes them well.
Realmente no me desagrado mucho el sabor, pero no me gustó que hicieran esto de forma bastante deshonesta, ya que lo único que hacen es perder clientes. Para el precio, no me pareció algo muy bueno. Se pudo buscar otras opciones más completa y mejores por el mismo precio
I didn't really dislike the taste, but I didn't like that they did this rather dishonestly, since all they do is lose customers. For the price, I didn't think it was very good. They could have looked for other more complete and better options for the same price.
Si creo que siga yendo a este lugar, pero la verdad, dudo mucho que vuelva a comprar esta parripapa. Supongo que me limitaré a comer perros como siempre lo hago, y dejar las otras opciones de un lado. Me gustaría saber que opinan ustedes de esto. Les parece injusto o es lo normal que estas parrillas tengan vegetales de esta forma?
I do think I'll keep going to this place, but to tell you the truth, I doubt I'll buy this parripapa again. I guess I'll just stick to eating dogs like I always do, and leave the other options aside. I would like to know what you guys think about this. Do you think it is unfair or is it normal for these grills to have vegetables this way?
