Hello, Hivers! I am here again for another blog. I hope everyone is capping off their first week of January greatly as we are down to many more days left to enjoy this 2024. My blog for today is something special. My mom and my sister will have their special participation and would love to talk more about my sister's characteristic of being generous to a fault when it comes to spoiling us with some experiences we've never tried before.
My sister took this photo of me. I don't even know how to pose.
Ever since she got a job, she never cease to treat us in whatever way she can. I know my sister has a choice to save up her money instead of spending it on food or material things for us. But I admire her own principle "I'm after the experience you two we'll be getting and be a contributor to continue ticking off your my-firsts".
I wanted to cry internally. How lucky I am to have a sister who doesn't only think of herself but is super willing to extend her hand to her younger sister and to her mom.
Most of the time, she often invites us to eat somewhere. One of those places was at Gray Yard Coffee. We visited the place a few weeks ago. It's a walking distance from our home so it's not a problem for transportation. A best place to hangout with your friends or family while having a little chit-chat.
Good ambiance even on the outside. Plus a very calming atmosphere.
Here's our order. Me and my mom opted for a pure tea while my sister opted for matcha latte.
The second place we had the chance to dine in was at Yellow Cab Pizza -Talisay. We had our visit here a few months ago.
Good lighted signage outside that made it more visible to customers at night. To top that off, they also have the most gentle cashier and staff.
They also have the best interior and everything is neatly organized.
What a mouth-watering pizza as it is. So wholesome, everything is just perfect. By the way, we had Nestea as our drinks and guess what? We were almost convinced to order for another batch. 10/10 for me.
Look who's enjoying their Pizza? I was enjoying mine too, I just wasn't able to take a photo of myself because I am most likely the person behind the camera. So most likely, My mom and sisters are always my subjects.
Next up was at Vikings SM City-Cebu. If my memory serves me right, we visited the place last January 2023. It was my mom's birthday.
I know for a fact that it's a luxury buffet so when my sister first told us that we were going to have our Mom's birthday dinner in the place, I was hesitant to go because the cost was no joke. I told her if she could choose for other alternatives that would be a little affordable for the three of us but she always reassured us that she got everything covered. Besides, it's my mom's birthday so she wants it to be special without the need to do any food preparation at home.
The place was amazing. From the food and the service, it was all worth the pay.
From all of these experiences, I can't thank my sister enough for her generosity. As her younger sister, I can only hope to give back to her in the future. May God continue to bless her in terms of career and growth because she deserves nothing but only good things in this world. More than being a breadwinner, she's selfless and that is something I mostly admired about her.
To all breadwinners as well who are reading this blog, I'm so proud of all of you. Thank you for your unending love and support to your family. Please know that all of those efforts are appreciated.
That's all for today my dear, Hivers! I hope you enjoyed reading this blog. See you again next time!
