Espero que estén muy bien y hayan disfrutado de este fin de semana. Yo lo hice bastante y estoy muy feliz por los pequeños planes que tuve, especialmente este domingo del día del niño en Venezuela donde salí a pasear un rato con mi hermano mayor para ver qué tal ese ambiente dominguero👩🏽🤝👨🏾✨.

I hope you are doing well and enjoyed this weekend. I did quite a lot and I am very happy for the little plans I had, especially this Sunday of the children's day in Venezuela where I went out for a walk with my older brother to see how that Sunday atmosphere was👩🏽🤝👨🏾✨.
La verdad estaba siendo un día bastante aburrido, pero la tarde estaba bonita, aunque algo calurosa, entonces se me antojó un heladito, porque si, son cosas que suceden, solo soy una chica😭, así que le dije a mi hermano que me acompañase a Dominic, una heladería cerca de donde vivimos en la Zona Industrial, Maturín.
No se dijo más y nos fuimos, pero no contábamos con que al ser el día del niño, pues los padres irían a este tipo de planes con los niños y a aprovechar las promociones del día.
The truth was that it was a pretty boring day, but the afternoon was nice, although a little hot, then I was craving ice cream, because yes, these are things that happen, I'm just a girl haha, so I told my brother to accompany me to Dominic, an ice cream shop near where we live in the Industrial Zone, Maturin.
No more was said and off we went, but we didn't count on that being children's day as parents would go to this kind of plan with the kids and take advantage of the day's promotions.

Así que lamentablemente tuvimos que hacer una gran fila para obtener nuestros helados, cosa que me frustró un poco el plan de tomar fotos bonitas con nuestros helados y el atardecer, porque esperando se hizo de noche. ):
Había un castillo inflable justo frente a Dominic, donde los niños estaban saltando y divirtiéndose.
So, unfortunately, we had to wait in a long line to get our ice cream, which frustrated me a little bit with the plan of taking nice pictures with our ice cream and the sunset, because waiting it got dark. ):
There was a bounce house right before Dominic's, where the kids were jumping and having fun.

Mi hermano y yo pedimos nuestros heladitos, yo pedí uno de Cocosette y él uno Crocante que era una mezcla de varios ingredientes crocantes, muy ricos ambos, aunque con el calor estábamos siendo desastrosos con esos helados derritiéndose😭.
Nos sentamos en el centro comercial Punto Express a terminar los heladitos y luego decidimos ir al frente, donde también se encuentra otro centro comercial con más puestos de comida.
My brother and I ordered our ice cream, I ordered a Cocosette and he ordered a Crocante which was a mix of various crunchy ingredients, very tasty both, although with the heat we were being disastrous with those ice creams melting😭.
We sat in the Punto Express mall to finish our ice cream and then decided to go to the front, where there was also another mall with more food stalls.

Aquí me sorprendió mucho la cantidad de gente y movimiento que había, muchos carros, más castillos inflables, pinta caritas y niños revoloteando por todos lados. Además de que el puesto de pizzas donde pretendíamos comer estaba súper lleno😳, pues es bastante popular por sus ricas pizzas y buenas promociones.
Here I was surprised by the amount of people and movement there were, lots of cars, more bouncy castles, face painting, and kids fluttering around everywhere. Besides the pizza stand where we intended to eat was super full😳, as it is quite popular for its delicious pizzas and good promotions.
Igual hicimos nuestro pedido, optando por una pizza familiar de queso y jamón + 1 Refresco, por 10$. Esta orden tardó bastante en salir debido a la gran cantidad de gente que teníamos delante, sin embargo, sabíamos a lo que nos enfrentaríamos al pedirla así que tocó soportar jaja, al final estaba deliciosa y valió la pena la espera. Amo la cantidad de queso que le ponen🍕.
We still placed our order, opting for a family pizza of cheese and ham + 1 soft drink, for 10$. This order took quite a while to come out due to the large amount of people in front of us, however, we knew what we would face when we ordered it so we had to endure haha, in the end, it was delicious and worth the wait. I love the amount of cheese they put on it🍕.

En todo ese rato esperando, dimos algunas vueltas por ahí para ver qué tal el ambiente, muy familiar y bonito, había música infantil y muchos niños brincando en los castillos inflables sin cansarse, una cosa impresionante.
In all that time waiting, we walked around to see what the atmosphere was like, very familiar and nice, there was children's music and many children jumping on the bouncy castles without getting tired, an impressive thing.
Después de terminar nuestra pizza, hicimos nuestro camino a casa chismeando y agradeciendo que pese a que fue algo bien random e inesperado este plan y aunque somos unos manganzones😂, pasamos un bonito día del niño. Mi niña interior está feliz y me alegra haber compartido esto con mi hermano mayor al que amo con todo mi corazón👩🏽🤝👨🏾.

After finishing our pizza, we made our way home gossiping and being thankful that even though it was a very random and unexpected thing to do, and even though we were big kids😂, we had a nice children's day. My inner child is happy and I'm glad to have shared this with my big brother whom I love with all my heart👩🏽🤝👨🏾.
