Saludos, queridos hivers,
Esta semana que acaba de terminar fue muy positiva en cuanto al tratamiento. Estamos a punto de terminar la etapa de consolidación que duró tres meses (aún no lo podemos creer; se veían tan lejanos esos tres meses!). También estamos a punto de terminar una etapa en lo que respecta a nuestro hospedaje. El apartamento donde nos hemos quedado desde que me dieron de alta fue vendido y debemos buscar otro lugar para rentar. Sin embargo, estamos muy contentos porque los dueños, quienes tan generosamente nos abrieron sus puertas para que estuviéramos con todas las comodidades posibles, hayan podido vender su inmueble, y porque estos meses nos permitieron compartir en familia de la mejor manera.
Justamente, a propósito de la venta del apartamento, el señor Edgar y la señora Mercedes tuvieron que venir a arreglar papeles y demás diligencias y hemos podido compartir con ellos. Ayer, tuvimos el placer de disfrutar de una pasta especial que la señora Mercedes nos preparó con mucho cariño.

This week was very positive in terms of treatment. We are about to finish the consolidation stage that lasted three months (we still can't believe it; those three months seemed so far away!). We are also about to finish a stage regarding our lodging. The apartment where we have been staying since I was discharged from the hospital was sold and we have to look for another place to rent. However, we are very happy that the owners, who so generously opened their doors for us to stay with all the possible comforts, have been able to sell their property, and because these months allowed us to share as a family in the best way.
Precisely, regarding the sale of the apartment, Mr. Edgar and Mrs. Mercedes had to come to arrange papers and other diligences and we have been able to share with them. Yesterday, we had the pleasure of enjoying a special pasta that Mrs. Mercedes prepared for us with much affection.
La señora Mercedes tuvo palabras muy hermosas de aliento, como lo ha hecho desde que empezamos esta aventura de crecimiento. Nos reímos mucho, la comida estaba deliciosa y, como dice el señor Edgar, la sobremesa es lo mejor. Compartimos anécdotas familiares y muchas cosas más.

Mrs. Mercedes had beautiful words of encouragement, as she has done since we started this adventure of growth. We laughed a lot, the food was delicious and, as Mr. Edgar says, the after-dinner conversation is the best. We shared family anecdotes and much more.
Ese día salí muy bien de la sesión de quimio y eso me permitió estar en contacto con mis amigos y dedicarme a varios projectos musicales y artísticos que tengo pendientes.

That day I got out of the chemo session very well and that allowed me to be in contact with my friends and to dedicate myself to several musical and artistic projects I've been working on.
He estado ilustrando la portada de mis memorias (se que soy muy joven para eso, pero me ha resultado un excelente ejercicio de escritura, de reflexión y de memoria, valga la redundancia)

Hoy será un día de concentraciones de venezolanos en todo el país y el mundo. Solo queremos que las cosas mejoren, que se respete la dignidad humana de todos los que vivimos en este hermoso país, que podamos soñar en libertad y tengamos que vivir con los miedos que produce tanta desigualdad económica, tantas carencias (cualquiera que ha pasado por un hospital lo puede verificar) y tanta incertidumbre.

Today will be a day of rallies of Venezuelans all over the country and the world. We only want things to improve, that the human dignity of all of us who live in this beautiful country is respected, that we can dream in freedom and not have to live with the fears produced by so much economic inequality, so many shortages (anyone who has been in a hospital can verify this) and so much uncertainty.
