My feeding habits

Do I eat quality food?

As far as I'm concerned, I eat very quality food that consists of all the classes of food. If eating quality food means consuming home-cooked meals, then yes, I fall into this category too. It's not that I don’t eat out—I do, but only when necessary and when I can't find my way home to prepare my meal. This mostly happens whenever I travel out of my city on long journeys. But aside from this, I am very fond of eating food prepared at home, whether it is cooked by my parents whenever I travel home or cooked by me in my house.

I take my time to prepare my meals using food items that are in good condition, and I try as much as possible to avoid excessive frying.

Do I eat large quantities?

No, I am not fond of eating large quantities of food. I am the type that gets up once my stomach is full rather than sitting and continuing to push in food even when my stomach is already filled. I prefer to eat a little and go back to eat again whenever I feel hungry.

Do I eat when hungry or out of necessity?

I work with both. I eat breakfast because it is a necessity, but even after that, if I start feeling hungry before lunch and I have food available, I do not hesitate to eat and satisfy myself. Why should I starve just because I am supposed to eat only breakfast, lunch, and dinner? No, I don’t do that.

However, this doesn’t mean I can’t or don’t skip any of the necessary meal times. I do skip lunch a lot, especially when I am not feeling hungry or when I ate a late and heavy breakfast. Sometimes, I simply don’t feel interested in eating lunch at all.

The nature of food I eat:

I love to eat heavy food. I just love it when I generate enough strength from my meals. I enjoy eating rice, beans, and African food commonly known as swallow. I am not the type that settles for fruits or noodles. I do take these occasionally, but only when I feel like it—they are not considered my main food.

That being said, just because I am not fond of fruits does not mean I lack vitamins. No, I make sure my meals contain sufficient sources of vitamins when cooking them.

Thank You!
