Hello hivers...
In today's post I share some photos of starfruit, my friends are certainly familiar with starfruit. Starfruit in Latin is called averrhoa bilimbi is one type of fruit that is widely found in various tropical countries in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia.

Indonesians, especially Acehnese, use starfruit as a cooking ingredient, one of the most famous Acehnese dishes cooked using starfruit is sour keu eung soup. In addition to sour keu eung, there is also sour udeung (shrimp chili sauce), a mixture of shrimp with starfruit and a little chili to add flavor.

Starfruit has a fresh sour taste so it can add flavor to dishes, but in Aceh, starfruit is used as a long-lasting kitchen spice called Asam sunti. Processing starfruit into asam sunti requires several processes, old starfruit is picked, cleaned with water, dried in the sun, and then salted. To become asam sunti, starfruit must be dried in the sun until dry so that the asam sunti lasts a long time for storage.
That's all I can share on this occasion, I hope my friends like it, happy greetings
