Today I have a Khmer daikon radish pickle recipe to share with you all. It is easy to make anytime, and very delicious.
This pickle we can eat fresh after we make it or keep 2+ hours as you need to eat.
I like eat pickles with all vegetables but my husband he don’t like daikon, he hate its smell.
👩🍳 Khmer Pickled Daikon (Ital) Recipe 🔪
- 1 radish
- 1 carrot
- 2 cucumbers
- 1 red onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 red chilies
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 3 tbsp vinegar
Step 1Cut radish and carrot and put salt 1/2 tsp, mix together and keep it 5 minutes.
After wash with new water and squeeze all water out from carrot and daikon.
Step 2After you clean it and squeeze it.
Step 3Cut cucumber, red onion, garlic and chili.
Step 4Then put vinegar, sugar, 1/2 tsp salt stir it until dissolve then put chili, garlic and red onion, mix up.
Step 5Then put it on all vegetables and mix together and taste, it’s ready now.
