"Model" is a typical food from Palembang, South Sumatra, Indonesia. This food is made from processed snakehead fish that is ground and mixed with sago flour and several other spices.
How to make it: After all the ingredients are combined to form a dough, then the dough is formed into large balls and filled with pieces of white tofu. After forming a perfect ball, the dough is boiled in boiling water until it floats one by one.
How to serve: Model balls are cut into pieces and doused with model sauce, which tastes almost similar to soup but can be added with other spices such as sweet soy sauce, table vinegar, cucumber slices, fried onion sprinkle, chili sauce, and others.
