What made you most impressed with your school days, especially during high school? I am first, was the moment when I and my three other friends skipped math class. It was a moment that always made me nervous. Like love at first sight, every time it was done I always felt happy but a little scared.
It's something that students usually do, especially those who are a little rebellious, because high school is something very beautiful to live, especially at the end of school. For you, what's the most fun?
When skipping math, there was something we always did. Because the class time was close to school time until we waited for tutoring time. Usually we hung out at one of the street stalls that sold meatballs. Almost every high school is close to a stall like that, I don't know why.
My friends and I often and even spent hours, strangely the stall owner never kicked us out. Even though the teacher often came and scolded us at the stall, but he never gave up. Until finally time continued to run and 15 years had passed without us realizing it.
That moment is memorable because it was triggered by one thing. A restaurant with a unique name, 'Bakso Masa Sekolah' which means in English meatballs when i was in school. Reminds me of my three friends. This restaurant projects how memories exist.
This school meatball restaurant has many extraordinary things that can be remembered. Especially some of its menus. Such as the principal's meatballs, class champion meatballs, truant meatballs and many other menus with names that remind us of school days. The interior of this restaurant is also very interesting, projecting a school environment. Such as classrooms, teachers' rooms, blackboards, and photos of heroes. What's more unique is that the menu book is like opening a report card book. On the cashier's desk, there is a map of Indonesia that is made very beautifully there.
Here, I ordered a simple meatball menu. I was with my mother in law, my sister in-law and a niece who really likes meatballs. We deliberately came here for a girls day out. No, we just came home from the mall and felt hungry in the middle of the road.
We all ordered the same menu, maybe because eating bakso is a memory for anyone, even though it is very simple but somehow bakso is always very delicious to eat together.
Bakso and vermicelli are the best. In a bowl of bakso, I found some pieces of fried tofu cut into small pieces as an additional protein. Eating it while it is warm and adding chili to make it a little spicy is the best way to enjoy a meal.
This restaurant is quite fun to bring a toddler because it avoids the extreme hot weather outside.
