Which part of the chicken do you like, which is your favorite? I can guess, THIGH? Of course, thigh has a tastier part than chicken breast. The juicy taste of fat certainly makes it taste very delicious. Chicken thigh is always my favorite when I eat fried chicken.
However, besides the thigh on the chicken, I like one other part. Can you guess what? Of course, not chicken breast even though I eat it almost every day. I just need chicken breast not like it. I also like chicken wings. For some reason, chicken wings are very delicious when I fry them.
One of the foods that makes me really like chicken wings is when they are fried with a flour coating. Like fried chicken, the most acceptable food for everyone. My nephew even really likes fried chicken and can finish 5-10 portions for himself. That's how fun it is to eat fried chicken, right?
For that, this time I also want to make fried chicken wings, but with a different touch. Different because these are Korean-style chicken wings. Haven't you heard of it too? People say that Korean fried chicken is very delicious. Of course I have never tried Korean fried chicken directly, but I have tried to make it.
The Ingredients:
- 500 gr chicken wings
- 1 pack of Korean fried flour
- Marinade seasoning: pepper, garlic and coriander powder, salt
- Oil for frying
- Korean chicken sauce
How to cook:
It's really very easy and I don't even think you need to know the recipe. However, maybe some of you have never cooked fried chicken, then I will be very happy to provide steps to make Korean chicken wings.
From several ingredients, I use simple ingredients and are not difficult to find. Korean fried flour, Korean sauce will be easy to get in supermarkets. They really expand globally to introduce their food very well.
I started marinating the chicken for at least 3 hours in the freezer so that it doesn't freeze. I mixed the chicken with the marinade, of course all parts of the chicken must be exposed to this marinade. The taste will be very strong, especially the spices from the pepper and coriander that are typical.
If you want to reduce the aroma of spices, you can wash it again with water from the marinade, so that the seasoned flour will be very dominant in taste. I also use this technique, then before frying, I coat it with flour evenly.
Fry the chicken with the flour for 20 minutes, I get a crispy texture from the flour.
I prepare the Korean sauce that has been prepared in a small bowl, then I coat it thoroughly, be careful with the sauce, because it tastes very spicy. But it's not Korean fried chicken if it's not too spicy. Isn't that right?
