Overnight Egg Meal Prep

Almost every morning, I find it difficult to find the right food for breakfast. I think almost everyone has the same concerns. Breakfast is sometimes better provided by others like breakfast at a hotel. We just have to come to the lounge and get some food. But that doesn't mean it's easy for a housewife.

Simply put, the morning will be very hectic, starting from preparing several things to prepare to go to the office or preparing the children to go to school. From the evening, the housewives will think about what to cook for the morning. This is not about complaining about work, but we often wrestle with our own thoughts.

The best idea is to think about cooking at night, why is that? Simply, when it's nighttime, I will know what ingredients are left over and can be used. So in the morning I can cook with all the supplies. So it doesn't have to be complicated in the morning because it's already conceptualized.

Another thing I do is prepare it at night. Like making one of our favorite dishes to eat for breakfast. As Asians, breakfast is a must with a complete menu with rice, of course that's something we have. Rice as the main carbohydrate and then need protein. Usually we like eggs to be fried or boiled. But, to just boil it must be very boring. A new idea came up to make the egg have a taste and aroma that is appetizing.

Soaking it in spice solution is the best thing. There are so many spices that Asian people have for cooking. For example with onions, chilies and sesame. This time I made something perfect.

With ingredients:

  • 5 eggs
  • 3 cloves of shallots, 4 cloves of garlic, chilies
  • 1nsdm Sesame oil and 4 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • Sesame and 5 grams of sugar

Although the ingredients above are certainly very normal in the kitchen, when all these ingredients are combined and made into a dish, what happens is a deliciousness that is so perfect.

The boiled eggs are first peeled and washed clean.
Prepare an airtight container and put all the ingredients in the right measurements according to you. Be careful in using soy sauce because it will be very salty if there is too much.

Soak the boiled eggs overnight and put them in the refrigerator. Can last for a maximum of 3 days

Serve in the morning with rice. Add some nori for extra fiber.

I think this is a breakfast that will lift your mood all day long. The aroma of sesame oil will be felt until lunch. I really enjoy this simple breakfast. Serve with warm rice!

See you the next time hive friends!
