I've posted about this distillery before... but with a new batch order and a new set of seasonal specials, I thought it was a good idea to mention Wild Brumby again. This is a distillery up in the heights of Thredbo... Australian Alps, but that sort of pales in comparison to pretty much every other mountain range in the world!
Anyway, they make a great line of very very smooth schnapps in various flavours, and with the cold winter weather, our stock has been steadily decreasing as my wife and I have an after dinner nightcap to help with the warmth!
So far, we have loved pretty much every variant that they have had to offer... with some favourites in the peach, sour apple, and the butterscotch. So far, the only big miss has been the Devil's Tongue, which is a chilli flavoured one. It is sort of okay, but definitely a small nip and a very acquired taste sort of thing.
I had ordered 7 bottles this time... and those of you that are astute enough to count to 7 will notice that I forgot to put one out for this photo. Spiced baked apples was that one... a winter special that is already one of our favourites!
The four on the right are familiars that we already enjoy... pear, sour apple, pink lady, and butterscotch... but the two on the left (apricot and raspberry) are new lines for the distillery. They definitely have a great colour to them... and they are sort of nice, with the raspberry tasting a bit too much like a weak cordial... but so far, they haven't displaced any of our favourites. There was a coffee one that was quite interested in... but that wasn't yet available!

Meanwhile, our oldest daughter has gotten really into Pintrest... something that I never really had much to do with. And she has been getting all sorts of interesting crocheting ideas from there, and more recently, some really easy but quite tasty recipes as well!
So, this 7 layer mexicican style cup... wow, this was actually really good... and she also did a chocolate mug-cake as well! All unsupervised, and able to do it all by herself! Hopefully, she will also take one of the dinners in the week!
