Fisherman's soup is an excellent source of protein, which is essential for building and repairing muscles, organs, and tissues.

Fisherman's soup is a traditional soup recipe that has been passed down through generation that is why when it's time for raining season it is always the best season for me.

Fisherman's soup is not only a delicious and nutritious meal, but it also holds significant cultural benefit and medicinal importance in many communities.


Ingredient
1 kilogram of fresh fish
70 grams of okro
1 piece of onion
6 cubes of Maggi
50 gram of crayfish
½ teaspoon of salt
80 ml of water
75 grams of pepper
50 ml of red oil
80 grams of small snails

Step 1:-
I cut the 🐟fish into pieces, wash it thoroughly and turn it into a clean pot.

Step 2:-
I added little quantity of roughly grind fresh 🌶️pepper.

Step 3:-
I added Onions.

Step 4:-
I added half teaspoon of salt.

Step 5:-
Added 2 cubes of Maggie.

Step 6:-
I added the already washed 🐌 snails.

Step 7:-
I added a little quantity of water.

Step 8:-
After adding all the ingredients, I stired the fish with the ingredients to ensure it's properly mixed.

Step 9:-
I closed the pot, turned on the gas and put the pot on fire to steam perfectly.

Step 10:-
After 10 minutes I opened the pot and stired the fish again to ensure it boils properly.

Step 11:-
I allow it to boil again for another 20 minutes.

Step 12:-
All the ingredients for the soup is ready while I waited for the fish to get done.

Here is my chopped Okoro.

Here is my chopped hot leaf🌿 for the soup and my grinded crayfish.

Step 15:-
After the last 20 minutes the fish is done, the first ingredient I added for the soup was Okro.

Secondly I added another chopped Onions.

Step 17:-
Thirdly I added the well grind Cray fish.

Step 18:-
I added 4 cubes of Maggie

Step 19:-
I added a little quantity of palm oil.

Step 20:-
After adding all the ingredients I stired it continueously to ensure everything is properly mixed.

Step 21:-
I added water💦 when I discovered the Soup🍲 was extremely thick.

Step 22:-
After adding the water💦 I stired it again with the spatula.

Step 23:-
I added the hot leaf🌿 this hot leaf give the give the soup a very unique aroma and teast.

Step 24:-
I stired it once again to ensure the leaf🌿 is properly mixed.

Step 25:-
At this point the 🍲soup is done.
