What kind of food makes your appetite increase 10 times? I'm sure everyone has something like that in their life, even if it's just your wife's or mother's cooking that you want. Of course, food makes everyone happy.
I've heard that women are more emotional when they're hungry. But, I think not only all women, men do it too. So, when hungry, everyone better choose to eat at a place that has the best reputation in serving food quickly. That's why there's a food court.
Foodcourt is not only a place where many merchants gather in a free and spacious place, but the speed in serving food is a priority. One thing I know for sure, food court is a place that I always like to try lots of food.
I have one favorite food court place. The reason is simple, the food is delicious, the price is quite cheap and the service in serving food is very fast. There are so many food menus and you can choose them on a paper that you can take near the cashier's desk like this.
The most complicated thing is when faced with a menu choice that I even want to taste all the food written on this menu. But, I know for sure what I want to eat. Here are the foods I ordered. All are still very traditional.
The first menu to arrive, Tahu Wha = Tauha = Tauhue. There are many names for this one food. The fastest to arrive because this food is ready to eat, just need to be given a sauce which is a mixture of boiled ginger with sweet palm sugar. The taste is very complex, super food from the high tofu which is similar to jiggly pudding, and the sweetness of the palm sugar which has a strong taste. One of my favorites when I have a cold, I think this is liked by many people.
Hainanese grilled rice. This is so comfort food. I really like the fatty rice, has the aroma of ginger and chicken fat and super grilled chicken with spicy sauce. Food that is probably very easy for all human tongues to accept. Hainanese Grilled Rice here has a very light taste, but does not leave the authentic taste of Hainanese which is distinctive. On the plate, there is not only rice with grilled chicken, given a little stir-fried green beans and also sambal potatoes that have a sweet and spicy taste. Almost similar to uduk rice, but the authentic Hainanese aromatic is very fitting.
And lastly, the tempting Chicken Curry Bihun. Although this is the last to come, this is the gold! Of all the food I ate at this food court, this is the most expensive. Of course, the taste is according to the price, even one bowl of this can be for 2 people because the rice vermicelli is very much.
Chicken curry bihun is one of the youngest merchants here, it has only been around for about 3 months but there are so many fans. The chicken is super full and the sauce is very tasty. I even really like the thickness of the curry that is just right. The taste is very similar to Singapore laksa but a little stronger in spices.
Well, this is the food court that I like. Not far from my house and is in the largest supermarket in this city.
