Dora. The name makes me think about something in my childhood. I am very familiar with the name Dora because it is familiar, like the one that accompanied me when I was little on a tube-shaped television that was very bulky. Almost every afternoon I watched Dora The Explore and met Boots the magic monkey.
When I realized the name of this cafe, I became curious why they made the name Dora. I don't know, but I didn't have time to ask the owner of the cafe why and the reason. But, it's so interesting, because this is the first time I learned about sourdough pizza.
Food made from wheat flour is not typical of Indonesia, wheat fields will never be found because it is not a primary commodity. Maybe wheat has been tried to be planted here, but I have never found it even once. So it is clear that food like this is an adaptation of innovation.
Especially knowing sourdough, I only know that my wife has it in the refrigerator, but she said it was very difficult to make. She even gave up on two or three attempts. So, sourdough is very foreign to me. But, I found something new here, for the first time, sourdough pizza.
From the menu, I was so interested in all their pizza menus that seemed very promising from the names alone. The toppings were varied and they also relied on cheese with names that were foreign to me. But I know that the pizza is basically like neopolitan from Italy. Pizza is famous for its Italian flag colors, so it's true that I ordered margherita because neopolitan doesn't exist. LOL.
It said: tomato sauce, parmesan, mozzarella, basil and EVOO. The perfect combination of pizza with simple toppings. I ordered it and I made sure it came very quickly, only 15 minutes. They prepared it well prepared.
It came warm, served with a special drink. A sparkling water with local wisdom. Comes from Mount Batur which is famous for its very clear springs. My very special dinner.
Accompanied by the perfect cafe service, warm atmosphere and the not too crowded cafe made the night feel very beautiful. From the decoration, this cafe is simple and even similar to a place to drink coffee, that's why I prefer to call it a cafe.
Of course, I will praise the taste of their pizza which is really delicious! Even in my opinion the texture of the pizza dough is very soft and like it has air bubbles. Different from pizza in general, sourdough pizza has a complex taste in bread that is even better enjoyed with simple toppings.
Call me Isdarmady, sometimes Mady, Putra or anything you want. I have a pretty long name but call me very nicely. There are many things I like, especially hydroponics and coffee, sometimes I also like traveling and eating whatever I want. Life should be like that, there must be many things you like so you can live well. Of course, what you want is a dream, so, when you have a dream then what you have to do is to achieve that dream, don't just let it be a dream.
