Hey, fellow foodies of hive! It's just the middle of the week but I'm already excited for the weekend, ahead. While looking at my photo gallery, I saw this green mangoes topped with bagoong (salted dried shrimp) which made me crave it even more. What makes this snack really tasty is the sweet and spicy bagoong- the best I've ever tried. I ordered the jumbo size sweet and spicy green mangoe from their menu.
This was from last week when I visited a food park here in Cebu. They are also available in food delivery apps for a more accessible service. Although I'm not sure if they cater outside Cebu.
A quick fact I'd like to share is that this snack is a native in the Philippines so a lot of foreigners, most especially Koreans and other asians, would love to try this here in the food park.
Anyways, this weekend, I'll be going in another trailblazing adventure in Carmen Cebu City. It's a whole day of fun activity which includes a hike to the waterfalls. Its been a while since my last hike adventure that I almost forgot about it all together.
Some essentials I have to bring for this whole day adventure includes swimming apparel, sunblock, slippers, water, and extra clothing.cim still contemplating whether to buy some new active wear or just simply look for something to wear in my cabinet. Or maybe I'm just over packing with the extra clothes? I'm not sure.
For our food, the organizer has it all covered and we'll just have to pay 300 pesos (or 5 USD) since me and my friends are no longer a member of the hiking club.
I can't wait for our hiking activity this weekend. I hope I'd come out stronger after this.
That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!
Sending some love and light
With love, Jane
