Snacks is what we eat or consume after or before meal. It can also be used for refreshment and so this is why in West Africa we have different types of food and snacks. On this note I would like to say that in snacks category I bring to you this which is called Cheese. This cheese can also be used as an alternative for meat. I have seen so many cases whereby it is used mainly in alternative for meat. I took some pictures of how this semi raw snacks can be produced into a final consumable snacks.
Like I said earlier I've seen so many families whereby after it has been finally reached that consumable level they use it as an alternative Instead of putting fish or meat into their meal, this is to show that it contains a lot of protein content. It is also good for little children because it boost their growth and development quickly. It is also administered to the nursing mother. I have also seen cases like that recently. I took some pictures of how I finally processed it into a finish product before it is consumed. This is how it looks when it was purchased raw. Although it can be consumed even as raw as it is. But it is not really advisable until it reaches its fine now stage.
- You can see how raw it is it also showed a lot of traces of grinded chill pepper. This also conclude that when you want to make it to this particular stage you must add some few ingredients.
SOME ADDED INGREDIENTS.
- Grinded Chill pepper ๐ซ๐ถ๏ธ๐ซ,
- Salt,
- Grinded ginger,
- Onions,
This was how I bought it raw and to finalize it I need to fry it to make it more palatable to consume. Like I said earlier some people consume it as it is. What they do is that the cutting into pieces and start to eat it or they can put it inside a soup or stew. Or they can slice it into pepper sauce.
I was introduced to it originally and I gave it a trial so this was how I purchased it from the producer. The cheese was made from raw milk with additional of some ingredients to make it sticky this way. The raw milk Serves as a source of protein in it. So this is why it is fit for everyone to consume it freely as snacks.
It is packaged in different sizes depending on your own request. I saw some sizes and ships but I prefer to go for this. You can also get this ready available for yourself and for your family members and friends.
- This was what I used to finalized the process into a finished product. You can use any type of vegetable oil to fry it. And it will be done.
- The next thing I did was that I poured the vegetable oil into a frying pan which I already put on the cooking gas. There after I left it for a while for it too get more hot to fry. Then I placed the already cut fresh cheese into the hot vegetable oil.
###. THE FRYING PROCESS.
- Like I said earlier, I had to place the already cut fresh cheese into the frying pan.
You also need to keep turning the position of the placed cheese so that one side will not be Fried deep than the other ones.
This was after The frying was done perfectly well. If you care for it you may reduce the rate at which it turned brown in color. You may want it just light brown. Not to be in a crunchy form this way.
