Nowadays, with the rising cost of food, more people prefer cooking at home rather than buying meals. They're finding joy in making their own food, whether to eat better, save money, or just have fun.
However, eating the same foods or meals repeatedly can become tiring. Sometimes,we lose our appetite because the meals is no longer excite us. Additionally, cooking isn’t just about eating it's a way to explore new flavors or recipes and try creative ideas.
To be honest, I'm not fond of cooking, and it’s never really been my interest. But thanks to social media, I became intrigued by how simple and affordable it can be. I decided to try making an appetizer worth sharing with my family.
I'm about to leave soon to pursue my studies, and I won't be able to visit them often since I don’t have the money to go home every week. We also have classes on Saturdays, which makes it even more difficult. But since classes haven’t started yet, I decided to cook for my family. I wanted to take advantage of the time I have left.
Now, I'll show you how cooking can be fun and easy. This recipe is simple and delicious. All you need are eggs, spring onions, garlic, carrots (if you have them), salt, pepper, flour, and crispy fry or, even better, bread crumbs for a more delicious and appealing result.
The first step I took was to boil the eggs. I used five eggs. I boiled four and saved one for later use. You can choose how many you want to boil it won’t affect the consistency of the dish.
Next, remove the eggshells and crush the eggs using a fork. I prefer using a grater as it makes it easier to shape them into circles.
Cut the spring onions and garlic into small pieces. Mix them with the eggs. Add salt and pepper, and mix everything well.
After mixing, prepare a beaten egg, a plate of flour, and a plate of crispy fry.
Take a spoonful of the egg mixture, form it into a circle, roll it in the beaten egg, then in the flour, and finally in the crispy fry. Set it aside. Repeat the process until all the mixture is used up.
When cooking, the pan in the oil is hot. Keep the heat low to prevent it from burning quickly. Once it turns golden brown, you can take it out of the pan.
Now it's ready to serve! It was so delicious, and I want to try it again, but next time I'll use bread crumbs.
I learned that cooking requires love and patience to achieve the best results. You can’t cook what you want without putting love into it. So, learn to cook and make it with love 💖.
