This time I will invite you to process one of the vegetables that I bought at the market some time ago, namely gambas vegetables or what we often call oyong. I bought this vegetable for IDR. 3,000 at a traditional market near my house. I was planning to process this vegetable because I haven't consumed it for a very long time. So today's dish is indeed quite easy and simple to prepare. Vegetable oyong has a sweet flavor, I like the texture that is dense on the outside and soft on the inside. So when we process it into any dish, it will be very delicious.
Stir-fried Oyong And Egg
Oyong sauteed egg is a simple recipe of processed oyong, I combine oyong with eggs. Both are cooked in one dish with complementary spices in the form of onions, tomatoes and chilies. I often serve this combination of the two main ingredients at home. The dish is a very tasty preparation if enjoyed during the day at home with rice. Well the inspiration for making this preparation is because this is my favorite oyong preparation, in my opinion oyong is stir-fried in this way to be very tasty So if you are curious, I will show you the recipe.
Ingredients
1 whole egg
3 tomatoes
6 green chili peppers
5 red chili peppers
2 cloves shallots,
1 clove of garlic,
To taste garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
Cooking Procedure
Clean the hard part of the oyong skin. Here, I prefer to peel the oyong skin only partially, not all the way.
Cut the oyong obliquely or obliquely with a thickness of one centi meter, then soak it in water and wash it thoroughly so that the sap comes out.
Then prepare shallots and garlic thinly and finely chopped to the required amount.

Then cut the green chilies thinly with scissors so that the shape is evenly distributed and the hands are not hot. Continue with chopped tomatoes according to taste.

If all the ingredients are ready, then prepare 2 tablespoons of cooking oil. Then fry shallots and garlic until brownish yellow.

Then add the tomatoes then add the telyr and stir the eggs so that the eggs break.

Add green chilies and add a little water then saute until wilted.

Finally, if the water starts to shrink and the oyong starts to be tender, season with salt and garlic powder, stir and correct the taste if it is right, turn off the stove and serve.
Result
The stir-fried oyong with egg combination was ready to serve. I arranged it on a serving plate and started scooping the rice onto the plate. I also added sambel ikan to the plate and finally added the sauteed oyong. I made the sauteed oyong a little spicy with the most important thing I added a lot of tomatoes. I prefer stir-fried dishes with lots of tomatoes because I think it tastes better and is sweet and savory.
