I have not tried cooking paella my friend, but with the recipe that you have presented, it was very understandable and informative, so it would be easier for me to prepare it as all the ingredients are also available in my country although it is a Spanish cuisine. I would try cooking this during dinner, for this is the time that I really love to cook. Hehe.
