Call it a coincidence or my negligence, that the day I learned about presence of microbes in noodles, I cooked my own instant noodles for Sunday brunch. There is viral video going around social media showing and warning consumers about the presence of microbes in noodles.
noodles can contain a variety of microorganisms, including bacteria, molds, and yeasts. These microorganisms can reduce the shelf life of noodles and make them less edible and harder to cook. They can also endanger consumers' health and safety
I am not sure, why it is called as 2-minutes noodles even though it take good 15 minutes in cooking. But it is getting one of the famous street food in India and very popular among the night workers. And I made my own after long time.
Honestly, I am not a noodles lover, though I like the syrup left after cooking. It taste much better than the noodles itself. Being at home on sunday, I made all areangement for cooking. I have the noodles ready.
I have chopped some veggies to mix it with the noodles. It includes, capsicum, chillies and onion and tomatoes. Oh I was missing peas and carrots more than anything. They just makena quick combo. I fried all the veggies in Amul butrer*.
This is something I learned from watching the street vendors. They have all the ingredients resdy. Whenever the customer ask for a plate of noodles, they simply fried their veggies in butter, and mix the noodles, add water and let it to boil. I am not doing anything different. Following the same process except adding few more veggies, in my noodles. I kept stirring them till.onion gets Golden and capsicum appeared cooked.
To let you know, I cook anything, though I am not regular in cooking, but I know, cooking many indian dishes which were consumed regularly. Once my veggies mix is resdy, I put on the noodles and added water to it. I also added the spicy masala that comes with the noodles packet. As I am bit spicy lover I added an extra masala pouch. And let the mix to boil for cooking.
Repeated picture 🤔🤔 I was too hungry to take thr final outcomes. But whatever it was it, was delicious. I liked it. But beware not to make it a regular habit.
There were many news circulating over the presence of microbes. And also it is not good for health if taken regularly. I had it after a good 6-7 month I guess. Bit for a change, it was good change of taste for me.
