Hello everyone! I would like to share my menu for today. We call it "Pininyahang manok" otherwise known as Chicken with pineapple! Sometimes, it's good to cook chicken meat with a twist to make it more yummy and delicious, right? To start with, you need the following ingredients:
•Chicken cuts
•1 big potato, cubed
•Pineapple tidbits
• 2 tbsp butter
•Carrots
•Red bell peppers
•onions
•garlic
•black pepper
•1 can coconut milk
First, you need to fry the carrots and potatoes separately then set aside.
Next, add 2 tbsp of butter in your cooking pan then gradually drop onions and garlic. Add the chicken cuts and stir occasionally. Add 1 chicken flavoured bouillon for flavor enhancement. Cover it and let it simmer for at least 10 minutes or until meat is tender.
I sprinkled salt mixed with black pepper.
Add at least half of the coco milk to let the juice absorb into the meat.
While boiling continuously, add the potatoes...
Carrots....
Plus the Pineapple tidbits and bell peppers cuts
Finally!
Hmmm... smells good!
I so love it with creamy coco milk!
