Freeze Dryer: Soup

I got a freeze dryer soup a few months ago and have been having a great time using it! I am going to start a Freeze Dryer Series. My first one is freeze dried soup.

I have been making these soups for awhile and freezing them in the Mason jars. While it is great to have them on hand they do take up a lot of space. With the freeze dryer I can keep them in a smaller space with no electricity for up to 25 years! So cool.

With the water all out they are like nutritious Styrofoam.

I have never heard of this, first time ever... Does it preserve all nutrients? Like vacuum packed

Yes, it has all the nutrients, just no water. So if stored properly it will last for decades. It is amazing. It is very cool for me and my chocolate truffle business. I freeze dry fruit and then used the powder to flavor my truffes.

Do you just add hot water to a few pieces in a bowl? That's so convenient for camping or walks when it's nice to have some hot soup. And I bet preppers would love them.
