Hi Everyone,
We had pre-booked tickets to Team Lab Borderless in Tokyo but wanted to have a meal before our entry as we would be too hungry if we came out of the exhibition. We chose Cafe & Bakery MIYABI Holland Hills as it was very close to the venue plus we wanted a Western meal (our first one since arriving in Japan). Downstairs is a bakery with some seats and upstairs for more dining experience.
We ordered a pasta bolognese, pasta with white sauce, and clam chowder meal. The clam chowder meal allowed me to choose a type of special bread: 1 out of 8, and I chose the chocolate bread. All meals came with a salad.
Around 10 minutes later, our meals arrived. Such a generous serving. The clam chowder was piping hot, the bread smelt so fresh, very high quality food. The two plates of pasta were delicious and both boys liked each others pasta instead of what they had chosen. It was a huge portion they couldn’t finish so I finished it off. The salad wasn’t well liked by the boys so I also finished it. BB E was good and finished his even tho he wasn’t happy about the greens.
For the area we are in (more high end area) and the location, it was a nice cafe with fresh bread. Japanese bread is very different from what we have back home, paired with some delicious hot food, we would go back again if we were in the area.
