The little fella is bringing out its eyes in shock, I am certain it knows what is already going to befall it lol.

Then I placed it in an open basin and slaughtered it.
I grabbed it by the neck and cut out its head, leaving the blood to drip out.

And then I boiled water and when the water was hot, I placed the fowl inside the hot water.
Then after some minutes, I pulled it out of the water, and ripped off or peeled off the feathers leaving the skin this way.

Then I pieced it one after the other.
I cut them into different parts.

I repeated the same for the second fowl. There were two fowls actually so the same process for the second fowl.

After peeling the feathers off and piecing them, I washed them in clean water and put them in a clean pot

Quite tasty and so yummy πŸ˜‹

I pounded or ground the ingredients, the fresh pepper and I added the maggi, salt, and then I cut the onions and put it as well.

I also sliced the scent leaves but I just didn't put it yet. I set it aside while I put a little water to steam properly.

I placed it on fire and it started steaming and bringing out vapor and hot steam.
After a while, I added more water to it to cover up the chicken.
I put the amount of water that would aid the chicken to be properly cooked.

This is when the chicken was almost done.
You can see the leftover sauce or soup and how oily the water is.

IMG_20210131_165124_108~2.jpg

The oil in the sauce is from the fowl.
Chickens are naturally oily.
They have a lot of fat and lipid.

This is the sauce, you can use this with white rice and you can also use it to prepare another type of food.

Those yummy chickens are ready to be consumed.
I picked out the chickens from the sauce.
