If you like gardening, aquaponics is a spectacularly fun way to combine the two things :)
Otherwise lotus flowers are pretty :)
Found a pond in my garden, hoping to bring it back to life and encourage some wild life too.
We had one before with a plastic sheet lining. We had frogs and newts in there. It leaked in the end and we built a summer house over it. I've wanted another one since then. Looking to make this a nature area.
Ours was hidden in an overgrown corner of the garden that i have just managed to clear so hoping to clear it out and add some plants
This bit of our garden was totally overgrown until recently. We have reclaimed it. Will have some veg beds around there too. We have a big garden, so it's hard to manage it all.
Know the feeling, gardens grow so quickly and with only weekends to manage it it’s overwhelming!
